The sweater is rather thin and a large is definitely not large. It fits like a medium.

Great fit. Unfortunately it smells really chemically. But a wash should get rid of that. I really like the look and feel of the wool.

This sweater has proven to be warm and soft. The fabric is thick enough to be substantial. The color is rich and even. My only complaint is that it is having a tendency to pill. The yarn is not tightly twisted nor is the knit super dense. It's definitely a dressy casual wear sweater. It would not stand up to rugged wear at all.

This sweater is thick, warm, soft, and surprisingly well made for the price. The fit is a little toward the small side, mostly in the arms. The maple yellow though, it’s more brownish than it looks in the photo. I haven’t decided if I like it or not but I probably would have picked a different color if I had known.

This exceeded expectations. It's as attractive in real life as in the photo. I love the tan color is a classic and traditional oatmeal heather that goes with everything. I like the look of the ribbing on the medium weight merino wool. The zipper has smooth action and looks great worn open or all the way up to the neck, to create a loose turtle-neck vibe. The general shape is also perfect - it doesn't go straight down for a "tunic shape," but it also doesn't nip in too tightly at the hemline (which never works on someone short and hippy, like me). It sits comfortably at hip level for a slightly blousy effect. I love everything about this sweater which has already become my winter 2024/2025 go to for everything from a run to the grocery store, to a casual day in the office, to an evening at the local brew pub.

Very soft wool sweater. I found it to be true to size, but I was looking for a snug fit so I could wear it as a layer under my coats. I thing if I was wearing it on its own, I might want a looser fit, but it still looks great. My only complaint is one of convenience - it is hand wash, lay flat to dry, so if you're a machine washing person like me, you'll need to remember to keep this one out of the hamper.

This sweater is very nice. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly. The arms are a bit snug but it's not uncomfortable. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it stunk to high heaven when I first washed it. It didn't shrink and the smell went away once it dried but my laundry room smelled awful for a few hours.

This is my 2nd Chanyarn sweater and it did not diaappoint! This sweater is beautifully made, and feels like a nice weight, luxury type of sweater. When I say this is soft, I mean it is SO SO SOFT! I got the beige which is a light, creamy beige. At 5'6, 130lb. the medium fit me very well. I would not consider it oversized, but I can tuck in the front if I wanted and the arms are slightly long (which I love a partial hand cover!) Size up if you want that baggy, oversized look. Again, just real quality, feels luxurious & I love how cozy this looks!
