While it’s a Chinese brand, they claim to source their wool from Australia sheep, which is great. But any actual data on sourcing, production and manufacturing is sparse. They do provide some snapshots in the listing, as well as a “certificate” tag that came with the sweater. But the tag only has an executive standard number and safety technology category. The former appears to be from something called the Code of China, which identifies this as “wool knitting goods”, while the latter is for safety testing and compliance of Chinese products that come into contact with the skin. This includes the presence of chemicals like formaldehyde, odors and dyes. On the surface, this labeling is a good thing, but of course more transparency is always encouraged. Otherwise, the info the provide veers into greenwashing territory.As for the turtleneck itself, I really appreciate that they provided the internal tag separate from the sweater. This is the first time I can recall receiving a product this way, and think it’s great for people who are sensitive to tags in their clothing. The seamless weaving makes the wool feel soft both inside and out, and provides full range of motion to the wearer, which is especially noticeable around the chest and shoulder. Lastly, the dark red shade you see in the listing is as true as can be to the color of the actual sweater I received. Absolutely gorgeous real wool sweater that is soft and comfy and beautiful Christmas red! The fabric is very nice!!! I am overly impressed with the fabric actually because it is knitted almost entirely all in one piece which is unreal. The only seems are the sleeves and one on top of the shoulder and that is it. There are no seams on either side of the waist line or down the length of the arm!! Ooo Lala! This is enough fabric to look nice on and keep your child warm. It is lightweight and the size is exactly as expected on length and width and arms and neck my child loves it. In the photo she is wearing a very thin long sleeve undershirt and I can’t even tell so if you’re in an area that is extremely cold you’re gonna be outdoors. You can see what that might look like to wear thermals underneath.This sweater looks like something you’d only find at a very high end store.

I'm loving this merino wool sweater! It's so soft and cozy, and the quality is amazing. The turtleneck design is perfect for colder days, and the long sleeves are warm.The material is seriously the best, it's like wearing a cloud! Merino wool is so breathable and temperature-regulating. It's perfect for outdoor activities or just lounging around. Would recommend!

This is so soft and lovely. The black is rich, with no variation in shade. It fits my 7yo girl well, and she loves it. I've been told it's perfectly warm for our chilly fall mornings. Bonus points for the turtleneck not being too tight or restricting.

This is a fine sweater. Because it was 100% merino wool, I knew someone in my family would likely wear it. Ordering the largest size I could - 3XL - I assumed it would fit me, generally a women's Small, almost always fit girls 16. I was almost wrong as this is very snug, which leaves me wondering (I have 4 children that have been through almost all the sizes now) how there can be children's sizes 3XS through 3XL and it still doesn't fit me?Anyway, I digress. It's a very classic sweater and very soft.The red is rich and deep in color and it would be great under a suit jacket or in where under a puffer vest, which is more likely how I'll wear it.It will need washing when it arrives because it smells like a casino.
