While many Merino wool coats use 19–21μm fibers, Chanyarn uses 17.5–17.9μm A+ grade Australian Superfine Merino Wool. The finer fibers create a softer, warmer, and more breathable feel, with less of the scratchy sensation often associated with wool. This fine Merino wool offers a comfortable, lightweight feel against the skin, making it an easy choice for everyday wear and layering.

1. Why are your cashmere and merino wool products so affordable?
We are manufacturers, not distributors. Our factory, established in 2002 in Hebei, China, has specialized in the production and processing of cashmere and wool products for 20 years. We source the finest 17.5-17.9μm ultra-fine merino wool directly from Australia (never using merino wool above 18μm) and premium grade A cashmere from Mongolia, including white and purple cashmere with lengths of 34-38mm and a fineness of 15.8-16.5 micrometers. Every stage of production—from spinning, dyeing, weaving, washing, shaping, to packaging—is handled in our own factory without any third-party involvement. This allows us to control both raw material and production costs, passing on the savings directly to you, providing you with high-quality products at reasonable prices.
