100% Merino Wool Classic Cable Crewneck Sweater

While this sweater looks and feels nice, I highly recommend sizing up! I ordered my normal size (large) and the sleeves come down to an inch above my wrist, and the back often rides up when I sit down. It also needs to be hand-washed, so keep that in mind.

This sweater runs a bit small, but not too bad. It is very soft and looks like a more expensive sweater. The bold blue is very flattering, as well as the cut. I would have liked it a bit longer. I am 5'9" and the bottom hem comes down just a little bit below my waistband. The quality is great, and the polyester blend is warm and lightweight, even if it's not the most breathable. Very appropriate for work or casual.

This is a nice sweater with a deep royal blue color. I cannot speak to sizing, as I ordered a large, and what arrived fits more like a medium. I can't tell you what size the sweater I received is as there are no tags on it. The sweater has a lovely pattern/weave to it. I washed it by hand and let it dry naturally, as you should with wool and had no problem, however I wish it had stretched, as it is very tight, and the sleeves and length are a bit short. I would order this again (for myself) in a larger size.

The wool is a beautiful color and really soft, not scratchy. The cables are beautiful and classic. I really wanted to keep this sweater but the fit was too far off. I have purchased other sweaters from this brand in size small and they fit fine (boxy fit, which is the current style). From the pictures and my other sweaters from this brand, I expected this one to be baggy in a "boyfriend sweater" sort of way. However, on me it was not cute and slouchy. It was fairly fitted on the sleeves and at the knitted band which was at my hips. But it was extra wide (for a small, imho) at the chest and waist. As a result, the underarms of the sweater hung 4-5 inches below mine (think flying squirrel). The extra fabric at the waist sat there and bunched up. For reference I'm 5'3" 110 lbs 34B, and other styles of this brand size S do fit me and I love them. Just not this one unfortunately.

I love this sweater. I recently got the chance to try a Chanyarn merino wool t-shirt and really loved it, so when I got the chance to test a few sweaters from the women's range I grabbed them for my wife. I was over the moon when I discovered that the large size was just about big enough for me to wear myself, and as the traditional cable knit style is pretty much unisex I happily claimed it.This is a really great sweater. I wear a lot of cashmere and know good fabrics, and this merino wool is very, very good. It feels almost as soft as cashmere but it's knit a little thicker than a typical cashmere sweater, so it's wonderfully warm on cold days. I've tested it all the way down to -20C so far this winter, and it's warm and comfortable enough to withstand a bracing walk at that icy temperature.I already have too many sweaters to wear regularly, but I know this will be a weekly wear through the winter.
