This merino wool sweater is classy and has a touch of understated elegance. My wife loves it! The color is beige and has a touch of very pale salmon, It does look good but it is not a pure neutral beige. The cut is generous and the size chart of the seller is accurate. The fabric is wonderful. It is fairly thin to be considered midweight and it fits very easily under other sweaters, taking up essentially no room while adding serious warmth. The texture is soft with a decent amount of stretch / give to it. The wool is not scratchy and it doesn't rub or feel prickly against her skin. The neck portion folds over, so you can wear it folded or unfolded. This turtleneck is silky smooth and has instantly become a staple of her winter wardrobe.
Selected this vest to layer in the cold midwestern winter and am excited to put some outfits together. The wool is very, very soft, and I machine washed it in a delicates bag on the delicates cycle, with a few other delicates items. Laid flat to dry (did NOT use the dryer because it will ruin wool garments). It washed up nicely, but I'll try to limit how often I wash it. I got my regular size in beige, and I like the way it fits (not too loose, not too tight), and it looks like the photos online.
It is quite soft and I anticipate it being quite warm as well. I am hopeful that it will clean well. Will update as necessary.
I have an extensive wardrobe of different Wool types and primarily wear wool clothing all year around for its ability to keep me warm during winter and cool during summer.I check the material information before ordering and make it a point to purchase Natural, Renewable, and Sustainable Clothing Materials since they are 100% Biodegradable; not contributing to Microplastic Pollution in our Oceans or on our Land.This V Neck Sleeveless Sweater IS oversized and fits me a little awkwardly. I recommend ordering your true size. Not a Sweater I would wear out and about since the armholes are very large and the bagginess is unflattering.I am going to use it as a Home-Walkaround-Blanket since it is luxurious, comfortable, and very soft … with no irritation.My experience with this super softness is that the fluffy feel will not be long lasting; it will pill quickly under the arms and on the front. This is where a Sweater Comb or Razor comes in handy.The cuffs and hem look classic and are finished clean.I wash all clothing items right out of the bag. This Pullover machine washed nicely in COLD WATER on the VERY GENTLE Wool/Hand Wash setting and then I air dried it lying flat.To keep it in its best condition, I suggest washing ONLY with a Neutral pH and Enzyme Free solution like Outback Gold Wool Wash. This was soft and warm immediately upon opening the bag. I'm super impressed with the quality and I love the color. I did size up and the shape is a little baggy to begin with, so I would recommend ordering your true size. Unfortunately, where it gets baggier hits me at an awkward spot if I let it bunch up, so I'll have to figure out how to style it better.
The best thing about this vest is the material: soft and very warm, excellent merino wool. It is quite lightweight for the volume, and very effective at keeping the warmth in. Very well made, no manufacturing issue on the one I got. The fit is very good, though I opted for an XL instead of my usual L, also in spite of the posted measurements that showed and L would fit me. Luckily I was right: the fit is probably meant to be a bit tight, have to size up for a comfy fit.The one drawback is the cut of the arms openings: these are a bit tight for me. For real thin arms this would probably not be an issue, but for me these feel unusual. Hope the material will give in with some use.
