I’ve never seen a sweater like this Ciovkis slouchy sweater. It has a vet wing design with open front. The sleeves fit close from my elbows to my wrist keeping me warm and toasty. I ordered the small size and it fit well. I don’t know how well the fabric will wear or if it will pill, but it is quite soft, comfortable and warm. I ordered the brown shade and it’s a pretty chocolate color, perfect for fall. This is a very clever sweater design, very contemporary. I plan on wearing this for an upcoming outdoor event with dark jeans and chocolate leather boots.
The people who produce this sweater should use a photo of a person wearing in the promo photo rather than have the sweater hanging there with no one in it. From the marketing photo, it is hard to get an idea of how it looks on. When it arrives - out of the package it looks quite odd. It is very long with two skinny ends, one on each side. I had to figure out how to put it on and the smartest clothes to wear it with. I don’t think this should be the case – maybe it should come with cute photos enclosed. But once I figured it out it was an “aha” moment. I was pleasantly surprised. This a not a cardigan look it’s a shawl with arms. To put it on, you put your arms in each of the little skinny “ends,” and pull across your shoulders with an arm in each skinny end. The arms expand immediately as the sweater/shawl goes across your shoulders. This looks good with a strapless outfit. It also looks nice with fall looks and blue jean outfits like jean dresses, etc. due to the texture. The material is pretty soft and when you “curl” the collar area around your neck AND YOU PUSH THE SLEEVES ALL THE WAY UP EXPOSING YOUR FOREARMS it all comes together! So, this isn’t a typical cardigan sweater look - it has flate - it dresses up the look a bit. THIS IS A PERSONAL PREFERENCE ITEM – SOME MAY LIKE THE LOOK AND SOME MAY NOT. BUT contrary to first impressions when it comes out of the package, IT ACTUALLY DOES WORK. Don’t blame the sweater for the poor marketing photos and the skinny little sleeves 🤣.
This is a chic looking sweater that can be styled casual or dressy and you can feel cozy in either way. It is a bit tricky to find which way is up for wearing but we referred to the pictures online and found there is a seam toward the bottom of the collar when it is on correctly. It is advertised as Merino wool but that is only a small 5.9 percentage of the fiber content still, it is soft, warm and has a nice drape to it. The fiber is also described as anti-pilling, only time and wearing will tell if that is true. The cut is long enough to cover your bottom and the sleeves are snug enough to not slip down your arm. The size medium a good oversized fit on a 5ft 110lb woman.This is not bargain priced but it is a fair price for the styling you get if the fabrication holds up to the promise of anti-pilling, it will be worth the price and then some!
Cute, but not a style for me. It’s very soft and feels nice, feels more expensive than it is. The sleeves are really long which I like.
So so soft. Super comfy. Light but warm. Perfect for fall. Love the length of the sleeves. I usually wear a medium but the small fits pretty good. You could definitely size up for a bigger fit. The sleeves are narrow so they'll never drape or be too big even if you size up. The color is nice and neutral. Definitely worth the price.
