- Raw Material Advantage: Unlike most 19-21μm Merino wool sweater on the market, all Merino wool products at Chanyarn are made from 17.5-17.9μm Superfine Australia Merino wool, which is of A+ grade quality. This choice incurs higher raw material costs. However, we chose it because it maximally restores the essence of Merino wool—being softer, warmer, more breathable, more skin-friendly, and more suitable for individuals allergic to wool.
- CASHMERE STYLE: Merino Wool is an entirely natural, renewable and biodegradable fiber that comes from the Merino breed of sheep. Merino wool is softer and lighter than traditional wool because the fibers from Merino sheep are finer and smoother. The fiber length and fineness of Australian superfine Merino wool can even rival that of cashmere. As a result, the fabric is thinner and buttery soft next-to-skin (unlike the scratchy feeling you may typically associate with wool).
- Features: Fine 12 gauge fabric, lightweight. Normal fit, solid color, v neck, long sleeves, ribbed cuffs. High elasticity, casual style. Lightweight, warm, soft, very comfortable to wear. The classic and versatile v neck sweater is perfect on its own or as an layer under a coat to to create a casual and fashionable look.

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
1. Why are your cashmere and merino wool products so affordable?
We are manufacturers, not distributors. Our factory, established in 2002 in Hebei, China, has specialized in the production and processing of cashmere and wool products for 20 years. We source the finest 17.5-17.9μm ultra-fine merino wool directly from Australia (never using merino wool above 18μm) and premium grade A cashmere from Mongolia, including white and purple cashmere with lengths of 34-38mm and a fineness of 15.8-16.5 micrometers. Every stage of production—from spinning, dyeing, weaving, washing, shaping, to packaging—is handled in our own factory without any third-party involvement. This allows us to control both raw material and production costs, passing on the savings directly to you, providing you with high-quality products at reasonable prices.
2. What commitments do you offer to customers?
We solemnly promise that all "Chanyarn" products strictly match their descriptions, with no compromise on materials or craftsmanship. We are dedicated to addressing any after-sales issues with sincerity, ensuring the satisfaction and trust of every customer.

I'm a woman who often wears men's clothes because they're made better and tend to be cheaper and have simple cuts that fit well. This is no different. The wool is very soft, thin but tightly woven and with good stretch. The color is nice, the fit is a true small, and the overall execution is great. I'm really impressed
I recommend a size up. More on that later:It's real wool. Along the neck was a small tail of extra fabric I cut off for a burn test. There was no self-sustaining flame with a torch and it smelled of burned hair. I didn't notice any plastic melting or smell from any synthetics that might have been mixed in and the resulting char turned to dust when touched. The sweater has a light scent of wool and nothing else - no weird smells, chemical smells or anything. The main neck tag is included in a key chain tag rather than sewn on, which is a great attention to detail that I like. It makes the sweater 100% seamless and tag free. The shoulders, cuffs and neck have zero seams.Comfort-wise, I have fallen in love with Merino wool lately due to its thermal properties in all seasons, comfort, moisture wicking and odor resistance, not to mention fire resistance. It really is one of the best fabrics you can own. It pairs great with a Merino wool t-shirt underneath for layering.Out of the bag, it felt ever so slightly itchy near the neck and back when worn by itself, but it goes away after a little bit of self hugging and rubbing which is normal, and I imagine after a wash or the 1st wear it will just get softer over time. Also, not everyone's skin or sensitivity to wool is the same! This is a thicker garment so it's going to be a little more fuzzy than a t-shirt.It's very very soft.Lastly, I will say I would have preferred this sweater without a turtle-neck collar. Mostly because I think the sizing chart is a bit off, but not by a huge margin. I tend to be slightly in between sizes sometimes. I recommend going 1 size up from your typical t-shirt size for a more roomy and looser sweater fit, especially around the neck area.I'm usually a size medium and I am confident a size large would have been perfect. Again, it's not a big enough margin to be unwearable, just a bit more snug or slim fit than I'd like from a sweater. The collar can be folded down but there's not enough material to keep it in place when you tug on the hem and it'll eventually roll back up on its own.I wear a neck gaiter outdoors in the winter and the collar didn't really interfere with it - it just provides more warmth in that area.
I ordered the 2XL that is the largest size that was available. I could find no size chart on the product page. This is a snug fit for a 45inch chest and not very long, about an inch short of reaching my belt. I am 6'1" tall. The sleaves are long enough but the neck almost would not stretch enough to go over my head. Once it reached my neck it was an acceptable snug neck fit but when removing it I again noticed that it was difficult to get it to stretch to the largest part of my head. That is 23.5 inch circumference. I heard the sound of some threads breaking. I should probably have a "3XL tall" but they do not have that size. The sweater looks good and feels like it should keep me warm. I will be wearing it but will frequently be doing the "Picard maneuver" and hope that the neck threads breaking don't cause it to come apart. If you don't know what the "Picard maneuver" is than search for "The Picard Maneuver Outtakes" video.
This sweater was quite a pleasant surprise overall. It is made of pure wool and you can feel it, the quality is immediately noticeable. There is no itchiness to it, it feels warm and breathable. The fabric has a medium weight to it, it is neither too thin nor too thick.XXL was just right on my husband, who typically wears size XL. I would recommend sizing up, since wool being wool, it will definitely shrink in wash. After a couple of wears, I haven’t noticed much peeling yet. Still, I would recommend laying it flat to dry to avoid the issues. The fit is quite complimentary, it is not too slim. This is a solid sweater for the price.
With fall coming on, a lightweight wool sweater like this is perfect. The medium grey color is exactly as depicted in the ad. The Merino wool material is amazingly soft, luxurious, and comfortable. It’s not heavy at all, but it’s nice and cozy. I really like how the mock turtleneck looks and feels.I normally wear an XL, but based on the sizing chart I ordered the XXL, and it fits perfectly. I’d say you will most likely have to size up - pay attention to the chart. Hopefully if I follow the hand-wash instructions (I will!) it won’t shrink. I’m fascinated by the “3-D Knit” seamless construction of the body, and the fact that it fits ands hangs just right. The bottom line is that this is a super high-quality Merino sweater, for what I consider a very competitive price.
