Way better than I expected much more softer. It does have a scrunch neck and wrist. The color khaki is a beautiful brown. I would recommend you size up if you want a flight loose fitting sweater. My Son normally wears a size 6, and I ordered a size 7, and this is exactly the fit I wanted. Extremely soft material.

Per the tag, this sweater is 100% wool, and while I am no expert, it feels like a soft wool to me. We ordered according to their size chart and it's smaller than expected, so I recommend sizing up. I am not familiar with the “3D Knit” process that the description page touts. Apparently it's a method of knitting that eliminates the need for seams. You can still see where the knitting pattern changed, but it's less noticeable than seams so might be good for kids who are sensitive to "bumps" in their clothes. We ordered the Brown color, and it’s a classic heather-looking brown, very neutral. The neck, cuffs, and bottom are all ribbed and allow for a bit of stretch. It’s lightweight so you can layer for extra warmth if needed, but it’s soft enough that it could be worn alone. Like all wool (or most) it’s handwash only and don’t even think about the dryer. Overall, it’s a comfortable sweater that will look good on boys and girls both.

I ordered this Boys and Girls 100% Merino Wool Sweater Fall Winter First-Line Ready to Wear Long Sleeve Seamless Pullover in a 3XL for my 13-year-old son. He has a slender frame, so I thought this sweater would fit. Unfortunately, it's too small. It is skintight and the sleeves are too short. So, I recommend going up at least one size. We can't try it seeing we already too the largest size.This is a nice, thin, and soft sweater. As it's thin, if you wear a T-shirt under it, you will see the lines through the sweater. Aside from the sizing issues, my son liked this sweater. The color is nice and the fabric feels soft. He would have worn it to school if it were bigger.
